Julianne Moore
Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moor is a Hollywood writer and actor who has been recognized for her talent. Sagittarius. She was born in North Carolina, on 3rd December 1960. She is oldest among three siblings, born to Peter Moore Smith who was the paratrooper. Her mother Anne is a psychotherapist. Her parents are English, Scottish and of mixed descent. Due to her father's job the Moore family moved a lot and she struggled to establish friendships, or to keep ones. The family moved to Germany Moore attended Frankfurt American High School where she began appearing in productions. It was at Boston University is where Moore graduated from her studies and earned an B.F.A. from 1983. Moore graduated in 1983, with a B.F.A. Her career in theater began with her debut in New York with Off-Broadway Theater after the completion of her studies. In 1985 Moore made her screen debut in the episode The Edge of Night. It was in 1986 that she portrayed the two characters that were Sabrina Hughes (Frannnie) and Frannie Hughes (Sabrina Hughes). It was her first major breakthrough. She starred on the show as the World Turns from 1986 until 1988. For her role she was awarded a Daytime Emmy Award. Her debut movie appearance was Tales from the Darkside: The Movie. The film was later criticized as a poor low-budget film. Short Cuts was produced by Robert Altman in 1993 and 3 Women was released in 1997. The latter was critically acclaimed and earned her a number of nominations for it. Moore was her first major role on screen in Safe(1995). In 1997, her career as an actress reached a turning point when Steven Spielberg cast her to be the main character in Jurassic Park: The Lost World which was the highest grossing film of 1997. The actress received an SAG nomination in 1999 for the role she was in Magnolia which was a highly praised film. The Hours, a 2002 film in which she co-starred with Nicole Kidman and Meryl Strreep was nominated for 9 Academy Awards. Other movies Moore has appeared in include The Forgotten (2004) Freedomland (2006) Shelter (2010) and Shelter (2010). Non-Stop was her film from 2014. Moore has appeared in numerous movies and television shows. Moore's most recent appearance as an actress in a major role is in When You Finish saving the World (2022). Her career as an actress in Hollywood has established itself, and she is also a novelist for children that has been published. She published her first book Freckleface Strawberry in 2007 and it became a N.Y.T. The bestseller was later made into a film, a series and even a musical. The year 2013 saw her release the book, My Mom is a Foreigner. Moore being a successful actor and author is also known for making her personal life known to the world. Moore was married to John Robin back in 1984 The couple split in 1996. Moore has two children along with Bart Freundlich whom she later was married to in 2003. Moore's world revolves around her families, work and friends.
