Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman is an American gymnast who was as a captain and a participant of the 2012 Fierce Five and the 2016 Final Five US Women's Olympic gymnastics teams. In 2012 her year, she received gold medals in team competitions as well as the floor exercise. For the balance beam, Raisman was awarded the bronze medal. In 2012, she became the first American athlete to earn the most number of medals at the Olympics. The gold medal she won at the Olympics in 2016 was the second consecutive gold for the US team. She was, together with her teammates Gabby and Gabby - the first Americans to be able to complete this accomplishment. Additionally, she won silver medals for the all-around individual event and in the floor. Three years have passed when she last participated in gymnastics competitions. Additionally, she was one of the gold medal winning American teams at the two World Championships. When she was just 2, she began to learn gymnastics. The sport she loves the most is floor exercises. Aly is a member for the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organisation to honor her mother, who died from cancer. She hopes to become a fashion designer and expand the range of her socks and leotards in the very near future. The book she is working on is titled Fierce to be published later this year.
